Cannock Chase Crematorium (CCC) in Heath Hayes is positioned in 12-acres of unspoilt grasslands and woodlands – it opened in April 2021.

Why they got in touch with Central Flooring

CCC were struggling to get a response from another flooring contractor at a critical point in the project. At the time, CCC weren’t aware of anyone else who installed specialist resin flooring, until someone put our name forward. We stepped in and did a complete re-do of their resin floors in the Public Hall and Crematorium.

About the project

All of our clients tell us that one of our strong points is the way we communicate with them – and CCC is no exception. What they really valued was how we transferred our knowledge in a way that was easy to understand. We took the time to explain the benefits of the different flooring systems, the process for each one and the finish each system would give them.

CCC were more than happy with their new resin floors. Just what we like to hear!

Project

Installing 100m² of resin flooring to the Public Hall and 100m³ Epoxy Coating to the Crematorium. We also did some crack repairs.

Product

For the Public Hall we installed Arturo two tone comfort finish/polyurethane which is ideal for this environment as it’s springy underfoot. It’s also decorative and comes in a range of colours. For the Crematorium we installed Vebro Epoxy EP Coating which has excellent resistance to cleaning solvents and other chemicals. It’s low odour and has good wear resistance to medium and heavy-duty foot and rubber wheeled traffic.
