We’ve worked with Buckingham before. They sent us this enquiry on behalf of their customer – a national delivery company because we’re always competitive on price, you can rely on us, and we complete our work to a very high finish.
The engineering stores is a busy working environment that’s had years of frequent heavy traffic – so the floors were in need of a refresh. Buckingham and their client were delighted with the end result and have asked us to do more work within the same building.
Recoating 300m² of tired looking floors in the engineering stores within the main warehouse.
This project called for a hard-wearing resin floor that has resistance to abrasions – which is why we used a high build coating KDR EpoCoat. There were some minor repairs to do to the sub floor as well, so we used Resuflor Screed for those because of the heavy-duty environment.
Due to the sensitivity of the machines within the area it wasn’t possible for us to prepare the floor how we would normally. Instead, we scraped and cleaned the sub floor to ensure minimum dust. We then vacuumed all residue with 110v dry vacuum, then responsibly disposed of any waste.
