They also renovate and develop residential dwellings.
They’re a regular client of ours. We’d already completed work on this particular project, but they were so pleased with what we achieved; they asked us to do a bit more. This is our largest project with them so far.
It takes a skilled team to install Quartz to create the perfect finish. But that’s what our team is trained to do. Natural Quartz has many attributes. It’s super strong, can easily handle wear and tear, offers protection in the wet – and still has great resistance to slips. But it can be decorative, too. That’s why it was perfect for this project.
Our brief was to carry out additional work to the warehouse. This included adding non-slip bays in front of the roller shutter doors which can become slippery when cars are driving in and out of the unit. The slip-resistance bays will also make it safer when staff are working in the area.
We installed Natural Quartz. But first, we used 250m² of EpoFlow self-leveller screed at 2mm, finishing with a layer of KDR EpoCoat HB – a hard-wearing and glossy coating.
Using a lorry mounted generator, we prepped the existing floor and edgework with a diamond grind and then saw cut 10mm x 10mm toe-ins at doorways, joints, open edges and perimeters. We finished with a residue vacuum.
