About the project

Not only is the system hard wearing but it’s aesthetically pleasing as it’s totally seamless, easy to clean and maintain, and has resistance to slips. We completed this project on time and the client was extremely happy with the finish.

Project

Installing a resin bound gravel system at a well-known garden centre in Wales.

Product

We installed a 18mm thick resin bound gravel system, which is ideal for the environment. This mix of aggregate stone and resin is great for creating aesthetic designs and shapes that stay strong. We used a UVR resistant resin to make sure the colour remains the same even with exposure to UV rays. This system allows water to pass through it and the finished look and feel is smooth and flat.

Preparation

A jet wash of the tarmac sub-base to be sure the resin bound system would 'set and stay'.
