We’ve worked with Leicester City Council for a long time on all sorts of resin flooring projects. So, we were delighted to work with them again on this one.
For this type of environment, which is typically used after playing sport and swimming, we installed a resin floor which has resistance to slips and provides a seamless finish making it easy to clean. And because this is a wet area – the product we fitted allows the run-off of water, which we needed for the drainage works to function properly.

We used Altro Quartz screed and coving for this project – a trusted resin flooring brand. We also supplied and installed new drainage for the shower area. (Yep – we do this too).
To make sure the concrete surface was ready for the resin flooring; we removed the uppermost cement by mechanical planing. To prepare the edgework we used a hand-held diamond grinder and finished off by dry vacuuming all the residue and responsibly disposing of any waste.
