Why They Got In Touch With Central Flooring
The floor in UK-NSI’s production area was looking tired and in need of an overhaul. The new flooring will provide them with a safer working environment.
We’ve been installing flooring for UK-NSI for more than three years – so it’s always great to be invited back to complete other new projects.
About The Project
Flowcrete is ideal for manufacturing areas where the floor is subjected to foot and forklift type traffic. As you can see from the photos, this self-smoothing epoxy resin floor has a high-gloss finish. It’s also hygienic, durable and impermeable. Just the ticket.
Project
UK-NSI wanted a hardwearing floor finish that’s easy to keep clean. They chose a bright and vibrant colour. The floor area was 450m² - covering the machine and conveyor area.

Flowshield SL 2mm system, with primer and expansion joint installation.
Preparation
We applied a Polycrystalline Diamond Grind (PCD) and mechanical diamond grind to the floor. a Polycrystalline Diamond Grind (PCD), floor received a PCD and mechanical diamond grind to provide sufficient application.
Project Duration
We completed the installation over 5-days – and on time. We did a revisit to apply the lines.
