We’ve done several resin flooring projects with Willmott Dixon. But it’s the first time we’ve worked with this particular team of quantity surveyors and project management team.

About the project

The Altro Quartz system had already been specified on the plans – it’s something we’d have recommended too, as it’s perfect for wet areas. Seamless and impermeable, it’s extremely hygienic and offers adequate slip resistance.

Project

Willmott Dixon reconfigured and modernised the shower room and toilets – and we installed a new resin flooring system.

Product

Altro Quartz Screed. We installed 4mm to the floor and walls, and 100mm to the coving.

Preparation

Mechanical planing to prepare the existing sub floor, diamond grinding to prepare the edgework and finishing with a dry vacuum.
